For nine years the Ténéré Tragics have been proud to assist with the hosting of the Ride to The Snowy Ride Adventure to inspire adventure riders on all brands of bikes to join in the festivities of The Snowy Ride charity event at Thredbo in the NSW Snowy Mountains.
The Snowy Ride raises funds for the Steven Walter Children's Cancer Foundation, in memory of Steven Walter, who was a NSW junior enduro racer who was diagnosed with cancer at age 11 and passed away aged 19. Along the way Steven had a positive impact on so many peoples' lives and his legacy is The Snowy Ride, that has raised millions of dollars to assist childhood cancer research.
In 2019 our Ride to The Snowy Ride Adventure will once again be hosted by Clubby and Tragics sweep rider Clive Ward from www.motorcyclebiz.com.au and will take place on Friday, November 1. The ride will start from Bowral Yamaha dealer S&P Motors and will feature a 400km or so route through the NSW southern highlands that will finish in Thredbo that evening. Then we will all get together for a feed and a drink in Thredbo that night, before enjoying The Snowy Ride festivities the next day.
Entry in our Friday ADV ride is free, but to be eligible to participate you MUST have registered for The Snowy Ride event via the www.stevenwalterfoundation.org.au website – which also puts you in a draw to win a Honda motorcycle!
